Our new album is being played quite a bit in Italy. Very good news.

The band finds itself in excellent company on the May/June Blues Revue Sampler CD. Two tracks from the band’s CD “Michael and Me” follow the lead off track taken from the new collaboration CD released by Keb’ Mo’ and Taj Mahal.  .  Also on the CD are tracks by Tab Benoit and Eric Bibb.

The band’s album “Michael And Me” has been reviewed in the internationally recognized blues magazine “Blues Revue” in it’s March/April issue.  Reviewer Thomas J. Cullen III calls the songs Backroad and Blue Movies his “personal favorites”.  He likes the song selection as well as the performance and concludes that this adds up to a “loving tribute”.  He calls Bob a “sturdy, confident” vocalist.  The appearance should help spread the word about the band.

Sunday January 23rd Bob Jones And The Drive held it’s CD Release Party at the Kiwi Roadhouse from 6-9pm.  All the great music from the CD was played by living breathing musicians from the Band that are able to play without Pro Tools.

Lots of cool surprise guests and musicians sat in.  A great time was had by all.
